Sonny Turner has been in the newspaper business ever since he graduated from Elkmont High School in 1965.
He is an award winning journalist having served as the Limestone County bureau chief for the Decatur Daily for eight years in the 1970s and editor of The News Courier for 29 years until 2008.
He has been a news and sports writer for 40 years and has published two other local magazines in the Athens area in recent years.
Danny Johnson has lived in Athens and Limestone County all his life.
He is an avid outdoorsman, photographer and writer. He worked at Delphi in Limestone County until he retired three years ago.
He started his own television outdoor show in Athens and has filmed local football games in the past. He has co-published two magazines since 2008.
